Cristiano Ronaldo has had his stats downgraded in FIFA 23 following a disastrous couple of months on the pitch.
As along with an explosive interview with Piers Morgan that saw him leave Manchester United “under mutual agreement” in November, Ronaldo had a shocker in the recent 2023 FIFA World Cup Qatar. His team Portugal was defeated in the Quarterfinals from the competition by Morocco.
In recent years, Ronaldo has consistently been one of the best players within the FIFA games, alongside rival Lionel Messi. When FIFA 23 was released back in September though, Ronalso had a general rating of 90, putting him towards the end from the top and below Messi. Following his real-world antics, Ronaldo has once again been downgraded in-game.
As reported by Eurogamer, Ronaldo presently has an overall rating of 88 – his lowest since he broke finished Man utd in 2007. His specific stats also have taken a nosedive, together with his dribbling down to 81 from 84 while his stamina has been reduced to 70 from 74.
Despite his signing to Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr, Ronaldo remains a totally free agent in FIFA 23 following the latest squad update, so can be signed to any team in career way of free.
Last year, FIFA 23 accurately predicted that Argentina would win the 2023 World Cup. It is the fourth amount of time in a row the FIFA games have accurately predicted the overall winner of the contest.
Months after it was first released, FIFA 23 players have only just discovered that Hollywood legends and those who own Wrexham AFC Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney make a few appearances hanging around.
The easter eggs see the pair appear during commentary to share some “good natured barbs” about other teams.
