A friend had alerted me to some brand called Desky, and soon enough, I found a 1500mm wide Desky Hardwood in White Ash at my doorstep. The desk itself came with three boxes (plus two bonus boxes for some extras that came along wit the desk that I’ll touch on later). The desktop was obviously inside a box, and super well packaged trained with would be a heavy piece of wood, and 2 boxes containing the legs, motor and all of so good stuff, which again counseled me really clearly labelled and well packaged as to not get damaged.
Whilst the desk does require you to build everything, requiring you to definitely try everything from attaching the legs, and brackets they attach into, it had been really straight forward thanks to an e-mail that Desky send which has an instructional video in addition to a physical instruction manual that runs through each step and very clearly details which parts are needed at what step. It allowed me to seamlessly place two monitors (a 32″ and 27″) straight into two gas lift arms and seamlessly adjust these to the exact position I had been after. The mount seamlessly clamps onto the back of the desk and feels really solid around the desk without any wiggle.
Both arms have built-in cable management, which again, really just allows you to have every single cable out of the way, and enables you to haven't just one cable visible in addition to the main cord that needs to connect out of your desk to mains power.
Desky states that that one supports as much as 10kg and 27″ wide, but I could fit a 32″ in landscape in addition to 27″ in portrait and have them wherever I needed them. Unlike other dual mounts, the procedure for putting my monitors about this mount was easier, with minimal screwing required.
WHO SHOULD Choose a DESKY STANDING DESK?
